A huge country of varied landscapes, Iran is rich in historical interest and cultural heritage. Although not a particularly easy country to visit, Iran rewards the visitor with a genuine warmth and a variety of locations almost untouched by tourism. The Roman palace at Persepolis and the incredible Islamic architecture at Isfahan are amongst the highlights. |
